Mr. Hittle has been working in the hospital industry for over thirty-five years. He has extensive experience improving poor performing hospitals. He has worked in all areas of acute care hospital operations to include managing non-profit and for-profit hospitals, as well as the COO of a four hospital system. He has significant experience working in rural healthcare, developing positive physician relationships, developing positive board and community relationships and is proficient in managing operational efficiencies, growing volume and recruiting physicians.
Mr. Hittle is a Life Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Texas Tech University, a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University, and a Doctor of Business Administration Degree from the University of the Incarnate Word. He is active in his community currently serving on the New Braunfels Community Foundation Board and is a Past President of the Downtown Rotary Club of New Braunfels. Mr. Hittle has also actively participated in his professional associations and is a Past President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Past President of the Trinity University Healthcare Administration Alumni Association.
